BLOODY FUN

Read Moore's Bloodsucking Fiends. Many of the characters you will see in other of his books. I really enjoyed it, and look forward to sinking my teeth into the sequel. I like Moore's style, the lighter humor, the playing around with fantasy.

  1. Hmmm. I'm a huge fan of the Twilight series, so it might be hard to 'cross over' to another vampire book. It's a possibility though....

  2. Once Moore gets under your skin with his irreverent humor and light fantasy stories (except perhaps LAMB, which was awesome but deeper), he is like candy that you crave.

  3. I'm willing to try reading any vampire book, but if it doesn't "bite" the reader in the first couple paragraphs its over. Anne Rice is more my style, but Moore sounds like he's got some ravishing humor, so I might give it a go! Tried "The Historian" a vampire spin by Elizabeth Kostova but it fell kinda flat.

  4. I would encourage you to read LAMB, then maybe FOOL or GOOD OMENS. If you like those, you will enjoy his lighter books, which I include the vampire humor ones.
