As I work my way through some of the old photograph boxes, I sometimes come across unidentified people and places, and they will probably forever be mysteries. Some have names, but I don't know the associations. But it is fun to put them up in the hopes someone will stumble upon them and reveal the truth. Here are three shots from 1940-1941 (the film was dated the latter year).
Mary Crawford, Keene Valley, New York.
This gentleman is identified as Lloyd Briggs, and this is his house. I don't see any mountains, and it looks like a few houses are nearby, so it could be New Jersey as easily as just about anywhere. Nice house though, something you'd more likely see in New England.
