Chimo and I walked all over Charleston a few weekends back, but alas we didn't take many pictures. Here are two that I managed to capture. The second is a picture of a sailing ship, with Fort Sumter barely visible in the background, taken from Battery Park.

JIMMY & BETH IN THE PAPERS
Beth and I at the Coast Guard Station on Tradd Street, Charleston, South Carolina, during the annual Armed Forces Day open house, as published in the 16 May 1964 edition of the Charleston Evening Post. The sailor is identified as Roland Gandy. I am interested in whatever he is pointing out (the cutter Cape Morgan), while Beth looks to be thinking, as she pounds her fist into hand, "You want some of me? Yeah, bring it on!"
