FRAN'S SISTERS

My grandfather, Francis Lasher Tidd, had two sisters. Here are a few pictures from the early 1920s, probably taken in New Jersey. Frank carried Betty Marie on his shoulders, while Janet May cuddles what appears to be a black cat (although it could also be a puppy).

Standing outside the same house that shows up in other pictures, we see Frank with sister Janet. The blonde girl is identified as Grace Davey (I don't know if that is family, friend, or neighbor).

FLORENCE TIDD

This lovely lady is my paternal great grandmother, Florence May Leedom Tidd, who married Walter LeRoy Tidd (5 April 1892-3 January 1948). In addition to having my grandfather, Frank Lasher Tidd, she bore three daughters: Janet May Tidd (b. 3 March 1918), Betty Marie Tidd (b. 24 November 1924), and Doris Ruth Tidd (b. 21 October 1929).
