Not the cutest Shar Pei ever, with some physical deformities as well, but Ducky was a really sweet and lovable pup, owned by Paul and Patty. This photo doesn't do justice.

BABY GIRL

Hidden away in the photo boxes were two shots of Paul's dog, which he had while living on Crete. She looked like a sweet girl. Paul spent a year at the naval base in Crete.

PAUL'S CLAN (2004)

Paul during a visit home from Crete in the Fall of 2004, visiting in Dad's Airstream, although I am not sure where. In front we have Illiana and Andrew; rear Oxana, Tatjana, Patty, and Paul.

DEPUTY PAUL

A few shots of Paul in uniform. Not sure what event this is (1998). He served with the Pasco County Sheriff's Department and lived in New Port Richey, Florida. For several years he was a crime-scene technician, photographer, and scuba diver. He later moved up to patrol.

PARTY

A shot of some of the guys at a party, I think in celebration of the kickoff of attempting another leg of the Appalachian Trail by my dad and his friend Bruce Beasoleil (pictured on left). Paul is holding his daughter Tatjana. Steve Peterson is rocking the yellow cup. It is hard for me to explain how beautiful the inside of our old home was, with the beautiful cypress paneling that was found in all of the old wall spaces.

NEW DEPUTY (1997)

A shot of my brother Paul at his commissioning as deputy, I think. Standing to his left is Steve Peterson (brother in law), and on his right, that must be the Sheriff of Pinellas County, although I don't know. I'm sure Paul will correct this when he sees it.

PAUL (1968)

My little brother Paul in 1968 in Charleston. Although there are many candidates, I think he was the all-time cutest Tidd kid. And now he looks the most like Dad. Go figure.

TIDD KIDS 1967-1968

In 1968 we lived near Charleston, on Edgewater Island. Here are a few picture of the Tidd kids.

I am guessing this shot may have been taken just before Christmas 1967, because it looks like we are celebrating a birthday, probably Beth's, because of the three girls her age there that I don't recognize. On the bottom row we have Bobbie, Paul, and me.

Probably Christmas 1967, but the film was developed in 1968. Paul, me, Bobbie, and Beth. Paul looks very happy, and Beth is focused. This is in out living room, coming out from two bedrooms in the rear of the house.
