Chimo and I attended the annual Spring football game at Williams Bryce Stadium. A beautiful day, good crowd, and, well, football. Glorified practice, but still fun. Here is a pic of Chimo sitting at the statue of Gamecock great George Rogers (who was in attendance at the game too).

FLOATING CHICKEN HEADS
Did well at the auction, surprisingly. I thought I had no chance at a box of miscellaneous items that included two smaller Ernest Lee (Chicken Man) paintings. But for some reason people were not watching, and I got them for $14. Made me giggle for quite a while. Here I am with my newest, which I call "Floating Chicken Heads." There was nothing really great in the rest of the lot, but it didn't matter. I am very happy.

CHIMO ART
Chimo did this little drawing on a two-inch strip of paper, and I loved it. I put it on the backside of my computer monitor at work.

USC SOFTBALL
Attended today's game against Marshall University, won by the Gamecocks. Very nice stadium, impressive team (from what I could see), and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Lots of chatter from the teams, songs, a good bit of excitement. Long time since I've been to a softball game, but I think I will return. Plus. . . .Cocky!

CHIMO IN CHARLESTON (2010)
Every third grader at Satchel Ford usually takes the Charleston trip. I've been on two such forays. Herewith a few shots from Chimo's excursion.
