Grandmother Tidd was originally Lillian Morley Sigley. This photograph, taken around 1921, identifies the gentleman as Granddad Sigley (I think my father must have made the notation), but in pencil it is just "Dad", possibly written by Lillian. The girl is identified only as Alice, which may mean she is a great aunt? She has appeared in other shots. Is she therefore Alice Sigley? I find it interesting that in pictures of my great aunt Janet from the same period, she sports a very similar hair style. I think it is called a "bob." Obviously they are up on a roof in a city.
